I can't say enough great things about Homewatch's service to help find an outstanding place for my mother-in-law. We worked closely with Lewis, Community Outreach, who spoke with her and our family. We gave him our laundry list of needs and wants for her next chapter in independent living. He's a great listener! Lewis did so much leg work for us - he visited and previewed about a dozen independent/assisted living communities to gauge their fit for her, at no charge to us! Lewis narrowed it down to six communities for us to visit, and we liked them all. Lewis went with us on our tours and knew the right questions to ask so we could make the best decision. Lewis is very caring and compassionate, and was awesome with my mother-in-law, our family, and the community liaisons. He was accessible and had great follow-through all the way through post-move-in. He was such an asset to us, and we are so grateful that we met him and used his services. My mother-in-law chose the perfect place for her, and she is very happy there, loving all of the social activities! If you are looking for a place for your loved one and feel overwhelmed with the choices and the process, I highly recommend Lewis!

I have had the opportunity to work with Homewatch Caregivers several times in the last two years for mutual clients. To say they are experts at what they do in an understatement. From Case Management with Maryellen and the owner Matt, you truly feel their passion for working with seniors to find the perfect caregiver for each one of their clients. We hired Homewatch CareGivers of New Haven in conjunction with my father returning from a rehab facility on Hospice at his home. KB our caretaker for my father was amazing. My father was only under his care for 3-4 Days but KB was all over any of his needs and a pleasure to talk to as well as share meals with while we visited my Dad. His service should continue to give Homewatch CareGivers a tremendous reputation in the future. Thank you for a job well done!!

Great service
I can’t say enough about this company, and its dedication to their mission. Our family needed them suddenly, to help my mom transition home from rehab. We had complex scheduling needs the company met with aplomb. They understand the need for reliability, and having the same people come over time. And the caregivers are wonderful souls devoted to the clients. The schedulers are available every day, including weekends, for questions or changes. It would be hard to imagine the past few months without their alongsideness. It takes the proverbial village when life and health take a turn, and Homewatch was and is there for us.
We used Homewatch to help with our aging parents. Mary Ellen was amazing! She came to meet them and was so helpful with explaining what they do and the process they use for matching up the right person for them. Mary Ellen did an A+ job of finding the perfect person for them on the first try which is no small feat given how picky my mother is. My father has since passed away and their caregiver has been instrumental in helping my mother navigate her new life without my father. I highly recommend Homewatch and especially Mary Ellen!
We used HomeWatch Caregivers for our elderly dad as he could not get around or care for himself. We interviewed a few other caregiver agencies but found HomeWatch to be our choice based on previous reviews and our discussions with the manager, Mary Ellen. We and our dad were very happy with each aide that came to care for Dad. The aides were all prompt, courteous and professional and any changes that we needed were handled quickly and without any issues. My entire family and Dad highly recommend HomeWatch Caregivers.
Finding good caregivers is not easy but Homewatch Caregivers have been wonderful. In the 8 months we have been using them for live-in caregivers, we have not gone a single day without a caregiver. The caregivers have been kind and sensitive to our needs. The liaisons offer support, check in and are able to make adjustments when needed. I highly recommend them.
My nephew moved here from a facility in Pennsylvania and his condition was much worse than we had anticipated. I was referred to Homewatch from an online service. Thank goodness!! Matthew and the team at Homewatch were so supportive and top notch that I was able to breathe and take each new day with confidence that my nephew was receiving good care.
After 65 days in Yale New Haven Hospital I have to thank Homewatch CareGivers for saving the life of my husband and therefore also of me. Consumed with fear for bringing home a complex medical husband that needed very specialized care the assigned caregivers helped me around the clock to adjust to the special needs, diet and physical care of my husband and having back up regarding medication, turning, bed baths, special diet to replace his lost 30 pounds and my sanity. Their long term devotion have brought us through so many stages of progressing back to his best health. They do not shy away from the sad, the difficult or the complex. They helped to nurture us both day by day, year by year and now 19 months later. I am forever grateful for their compassionate abilities.
