The inception of Homewatch CareGivers in Boise was inspired by the vision of Eric Wallentine, a former engineer with a rich background in problem-solving and innovation. After transitioning from a corporate environment that lacked personal fulfillment, Eric was driven by the desire to make a tangible difference in the lives of others. This led him to the caregiving industry, where he has been applying his extensive experience and compassion to improve the quality of life for seniors in the Treasure Valley. Eric, a certified senior advisor (CSA), alongside his family, has been at the forefront of our operations, embodying the values of care and integrity that we stand for.
Joining Eric in this journey is Nate Benjamin, a seasoned professional with extensive international business experience. Moved by personal experiences and a resolve to contribute more meaningfully to the community, Nate became a co-founder of our Boise location. His dedication to the welfare of the elderly, especially those battling Alzheimer’s disease, is a testament to the depth of our team’s empathy and commitment.

Schedule An Introductory CallEric Wallentine is the owner and president of Homewatch CareGivers of Idaho, which opened in 2009. Eric is always looking for ways to continually drive quality, caregiver satisfaction and client satisfaction to its highest levels. His favorite part about being the President of Homewatch CareGivers is helping people get into the healthcare field and helping people remain in their homes if they so desire. One of Eric’s most memorable experiences as a business owner was when he helped a client move into an independent living community and therefore significantly decrease the need for in-home care services. The positive difference this made in the client’s health and happiness was made it all worthwhile for Eric. He holds a bachelor of engineering, master of engineering and master of business administration from the University of Utah, University of Idaho and University of Phoenix, respectively. He is currently pursuing a master of economics from Boise State University. His background in engineering and process improvement guarantees that although we are not perfect, when we make mistakes, we will fix them and find ways to not repeat them. Eric enjoys taking rides on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and spending time with his wife, Shanell, their seven kids and five grandkids as often as possible.
Nate Benjamin joined his business partner, Eric Wallentine, shortly after Eric opened Homewatch CareGivers of Idaho in 2009 to help him develop a company to provide high quality, compassionate care to people in our community who need caregiving services. What Nate enjoys most about his work is helping families find the care and resources they need to provide for their loved ones. Meeting one on one with families, gaining their trust and consulting with them to provide solutions is what he enjoys the most! He also enjoys working with the many community partners who share a passion for doing what’s right and assisting those in need. Nate has a bachelor’s degree in business from Boise State University. After spending 15 years in the high tech industry and traveling abroad he was ready for a change to stay home and be more involved in the local community. When he’s not at work, Nate loves spending time with his wife, four children, and ten grandchildren. He loves the outdoors and the beautiful Idaho mountains. He also enjoys serving in his church in various capacities.
As General Manager and Marketing Manager for Homewatch CareGivers, Andrew Ardapple oversees daily operations, caregiver support, client experience, and marketing initiatives across the organization. Since joining Homewatch in 2022, he has helped support the company’s growth by improving internal processes, strengthening team communication, and helping expand services throughout the communities Homewatch serves.
With a background in healthcare and management, Andrew enjoys building systems that help both employees and clients have a better overall experience. He works closely with caregivers, office staff, clients, and referral partners to help ensure quality care and strong relationships throughout every part of the company.
Originally from the Midwest and now proud to call Boise home, Andrew enjoys spending time with his son, Theo, and his partner, traveling, and being outside.
Kurt Lyon is our Area Manager in the Canyon County area (Nampa, Caldwell and outlying areas). He brings to us his experience having worked in Long-Term Care as well as having served our country for 13 years as a United State Marine he has a passion for helping and serving families and veterans in our community with their caregiving needs. Kurt loves spending time with his Wife and 5 children adventuring and enjoying the great outdoors of Idaho.
Amber Hathaway is the Twin Falls & Pocatello Area Manager and brings more than 20 years of experience in customer care, relationship building, and community service. Born and raised in Twin Falls, Amber is passionate about helping others and believes care should always feel personal, compassionate, and supportive.
Known for her warm personality and dedication to serving others, Amber takes pride in helping clients and families navigate important life transitions with kindness and understanding. Her background in client-related services and operations has helped her develop a thoughtful, people-first approach to care.
Outside of work, Amber enjoys spending time outdoors exploring Idaho’s beautiful scenery through hiking and kayaking. She is also a proud mom of two grown children and one very loved fur baby.
Liesha’s passion has always been to help and teach others on their path to success with growth and to make a difference in the world. This has guided her to become an accomplished and highly driven Human Resource professional for over 18 years in the Healthcare Field. The opportunities she has received during her journey have allowed her to gain extensive skills and knowledge in promoting efficient business operations, high productivity with all regulations, and a proactive approach to ensuring work ethic within the workforce. Liesha was born and raised in Northern Idaho on her Grandparent's farm, where she learned many valuable lessons with traditional values and high morale. Outside her professional pursuits, she enjoys various creative outlets, including art, drawing, nature meditation, and the love of music!
She has been working in the health care industry for 11 years now with 9 of those years in direct patient care. She has worked in many different clinical settings including hospitals, rehabs, ALFs/SNFs, etc. Madison obtained her CNA license in 2017 and her Medication Technician Certificate in 2018. She is currently studying for a bachelor’s in human resources management at Boise State University. What Madison loves about working at Homewatch is that she gets to help others succeed as this is one of her passions in life. In her free time, she loves to be outdoors with her friends and family and experience new things.
Brittney is an Arizona native with a passion for building meaningful connections and making things run smoothly. With a strong background in administrative support, she offers organization, attention to detail, and a calming presence to every project she tackles. She thrives in diverse environments and enjoys embracing new perspectives through travel, culture, and time spent outdoors. Her experiences across various states have shaped her ability to adapt and connect with people from all walks of life. She is a great listener and she believes that authentic conversations are the foundation of any successful collaboration. Whether she is working behind the scenes or engaging directly with others, she leads with empathy, curiosity, and a commitment to making a positive impact.
Victoria Mays serves as the Client Care Manager at Homewatch CareGivers, where she oversees client care operations, caregiver support, scheduling coordination, and quality assurance across the Boise and surrounding service areas. With a strong passion for helping others and a hands-on leadership approach, Victoria is dedicated to ensuring clients receive compassionate, personalized care that allows them to remain safe and comfortable in their homes.
Victoria works closely with families, caregivers, healthcare partners, and community organizations to create individualized care experiences that support each client’s unique needs and goals. She is especially passionate about caregiver training, operational excellence, dementia care education, and building strong relationships with both clients and staff.
Known for her problem-solving abilities, responsiveness, and commitment to high standards, Victoria plays a key role in maintaining the company’s mission of delivering trusted, people-focused home care services. She also leads quality initiatives, onboarding support, client satisfaction follow-ups, and team development efforts to help create a positive experience for both clients and caregivers alike.
Outside of work, Victoria enjoys spending time as a new mom, being outdoors, gardening, and relaxing with her French Bulldog. She is passionate about building strong community connections and creating a positive impact both professionally and personally throughout Idaho.
Jessica relocating from Sun Valley to Meridian, she quickly grew to love the community and everything the area has to offer. With over a decade of experience in caregiving and 3 years of client care coordinating, helping others has always been a true passion. While exploring different career paths over the years she always found herself happiest when supporting and caring for people. Their compassion, dedication, and ability to build meaningful connections continue to make a positive impact on those around her.
Since moving to the Boise area, she returned to pursuing a career in the healthcare industry with a passion for meaningful connection and compassionate care. An avid outdoor adventurer, she values close relationships, personal growth, and creating experiences that help others feel genuinely supported and comfortable. Excited to embrace this new season of life and professional growth, she brings an energetic, intuitive, and positive presence to her role as a Client Care Coordinator. Her thoughtful and people-centered approach allows her to build strong connections while creating a warm, welcoming environment for every client and caregiver she interacts with.
